Hi, I’m Larissa
I began my personal training journey in Astoria’s New York Sport’s Club (NYSC) in 2018. My programming emphasizes functional training to help clients move and feel better during their day-to-day lives. I believe that it’s important to focus on strength and more importantly, mobility and stretching. My ultimate goal for my clients is for them to build confidence and enjoy movement for their physical and mental health.

I began my personal training journey in the fall of 2015. I then began to work with NYSC in August of 2016, where I worked for three years. When the pandemic hit I decided to go private and never looked back. I love the idea of helping others any way that I can. I love the sense of having a strong community bond at Lift 240. While I’m helping others to better themselves any way that I can, I always make sure that I’m bettering myself as well by continuing my education with new specializations as often as possible.

One-on-one training sessions allow us to provide a program that is tailored to your specific needs. We first focus on building a strong foundation by working on form, stability, and endurance, then add in a mix of hypertrophy (muscle-building), strength, and power exercises that are based on your fitness goals. Your training program will focus on progressive overload that will help you continue to hit your goals. By keeping track of your exercises, weight used, and set/reps, we can see how much progress you are making over time.

Small group training provides many of the same benefits as one-on-one training for a lower price! You also get the benefit of a strong community feel that helps some of our clients stay more consistent. Small group training is capped at 5 people to make sure that we can give each client personal attention.

Virtual Training provides many of the same benefits as one-on-one training in the convenience of you own home!

Whether you’re pre or post natal, we’ll work with your needs and goals to create a safe training program.

We’ll keep track of each of your exercises, weights used, and sets/reps and monitor your overall progress. We can also keep track of weight, BMI, and body composition at your discretion.

Although it is outside of our scope of practice to prescribe our clients specific meal plans, we are able to provide guidance and support when it comes to nutrition. We believe that small changes over time build more sustainable habits, and can help our clients figure out where to start. We are also here to help clients learn how to track calories and macros and how to make smarter choices when eating.
Our Services
Our Private Facility
Our facility includes a variety of strength, stretching, and cardio equipment. There are a mix of barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, cable machines and other strength machines. Additionally, we have a row machine, foam rollers, bands, and bosu balls.
